Mary Ann Johnson, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025 within the comfort of her home. She was born in Jenkins County to the late James and Mamie Owens.

She was a Master Cosmetologist at her salon, Tangles, in Millen for many years. She retired with her husband Johnny and they enjoyed working on the family farm. She loved working in the yard tending to her beautiful flowers. She became a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church after marrying the love of her life, Johnny.

She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Mamie Owens; husband, Johnny Johnson; brother, Richard Owens; sister, Dorothy Owens Trapp; daughter, Rhonda J. Stokes; son, Scott Johnson; brother-in-law, Gary Trapp; and nephew, Jason L Williams.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Tiffany Johnson-Gay (Matthew); great granddaughters, Elaina Johnson, Alyssa Gay, and Mckinnley Gay; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 9, 2025 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with the Reverend Randy Graham officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am.
