Mrs. Mary B. Burke, age 86, died Friday, August 5, 2022 at Ogeechee Hospice of Statesboro.

She was born in Jenkins County and was a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

She had worked at Thomson Company, and had managed chicken houses for Cal-Maine Foods and later was mostly a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Charles E. "Jack" Burke and great granddaughter, Grace Caroline Dudley.

Visitation will 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be 3:00 p. m. Sunday at Millen Cemetery with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating.

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda B. Dudley (George); a son, Charles E. Burke Jr. of Millen; a brother, Wayne Bennett (Deborah); grandchildren, Ginger Lanier (Ernest) and Robert Dudley; great grandchildren, Jackson and Sidnee Lanier and Dalton Dudley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tyson Bennett, Jason Bennett, Ernest Lanier, Don Burke, Steve Burke, and Rodney Lee.
