Obituary

Mr. Marvin Buddy Canady, age 90, died Friday, November 20, 2015.
He was born in Emanuel County, and was a retired carpenter and heavy equipment operator and member of Operator Engineers Local 474 and Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p. m., Monday at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Simmons and Tommy Pullium officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, daughter, Pam and granddaughter, Candace.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia (Lamar) Durden of Metter; 3 sons, Johnny (Sandra) Canady of Loganville, Randy (Robin) Canady of Garfield, and Barry (Kim) Canady of Twin City; 2 sisters, Merlene Hutcheson of Adrian and Ann Proctor of Millen; a brother, Bobby (Sue) Canady of Canoochee; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.

Active Pallbearers will be David Reeves, Tim Baker, Jeff Canady, Thomas Earl Proctor, Stacy Hutcheson, Doug Chassereau, and Johnathon Proctor.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lincoln Kettles, Gene Baker, Randy Blackburn, Larry Hall, David Kettles, Johnny Johnson, Clay Clark, Bunny Johnson, Larry Brinson, Rusty Lane, and Bobby Reeves.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen.
