Marty J. McClain, age 66, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Ogeechee Hospice House in Statesboro.

He was born in Bulloch County, a retired carpenter and an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his daughter, Joellen Lewis (Kris) of Sylvania; son, Marty J. McClain Jr. (Alexis) of Millen; 6 grandchildren, Candace Waters, Celissa Smith, Colton Edenfield, Kasen Lewis, Raylan McClain and Millie McClain; 4 great grandchildren, Hayz Brannen, Trent Waters, Pate Smith, and Ella Smith; and Sister, Gail Stephens of Jesup.
