Mr. Mark Lane, age 48, died Thursday, August 20, 2015, at his residence following a long illness.

He was a native of Jenkins County, a farmer, and member of the Rosemary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kacey Lane.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm until the funeral services at 3:00 pm at the Rosemary Baptist Church with Revs. Charles Cravey and Tommy Pulliam officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his special friend, Cathy Fordham; 2 daughters, January Denise Lane and T. J. Lane; a son, Mark "Little Man" Lane Jr.; a stepdaughter, Brittany "BeBe" Fordham; his parents, Quinney A. and Nellie Jean Burke Lane; a brother, Quinney A. "Boll Weevil" Lane, Jr.; a sister, Donna Sue Lane Tapley; and a grandson, Bentley Howard.

Active Pallbearers will be Kim Burke, James Tapley, Travis Tapley, Frank Joiner, Brian Lane, Cody Lane, Denny Orr, Donnie Williams.
