Mrs. Marie Adams, 73, died Friday, February 18, 2022 at her residence.

She was born June 10, 1948 in Millen. She was a retired seamstress for Jockey International and was a member of West Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Ronald Adams, brothers, Johnny Oglesby, Averitt Oglesby and Lamar Oglesby; and sister, Jeanelle Durden.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, February 24, 2022 at West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Millen Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be John Durden, Allen Durden, Eddie Eskew, Glen Stephens, Sydney London, Jackie Hendrix, Rodney Oglesby and Mason Hendrix.

Survivors include her son, Jeff Adams (Sherri) of Millen; daughter, Rhonda Adams Hendrix (Michael) of Millen; 5 grandchildren, Brittney A. Bird (Britt), Breanna A. Chance (Blaze), Marisa Hendrix, Mason Hendrix, and Emma Hendrix all of Millen and 5 greatgrandchildren; and a special niece, Darlene Oglesby Gay.
