Mrs. Mamie Wilson Clifton, age 87, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Pruitt Bethany.

She was born in Screven County, she retired as  a cafeteria worker after preparing meals for 42 years in the Jenkins County School system, and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady William Clifton; parents, Bert and Annie Mae Wilson; brothers, W. L. and Larry Wilson; sister, Gertrude Thompson; and son-in-law, Donald Rich.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Clifton Family Cemetery with Rev. Joshua Johnson officiating.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Rich; granddaughter, Rebecca Rich Smith (Chasen); Great granddaughter, Harper Cait Smith; a sister, Judy Davis.
