Lula Mae Dickens Mixon, 67, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Bethany Nursing Center.

She was born in Jenkins County, a homemaker, and a member of the Green Fork Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Green Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time at the church.

Survivors include her 4 sons, Dennis B. English and Robert L. English of Millen, Herbert W. (Angela) Mixon of Augusta and Charles Anthony Joyner of Greenville, SC; 2 step-daughters, Renee Strickland of Augusta and Janice Marcum of Barbourville, KY; 2 step-sons, Charles W. (Vicki) Joyner and J. L. Norris of Augusta; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
