Mrs. Lucille Elliot Harris, age 81, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Bethany Nursing Center.

She was born in Floyds, SC, a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and also retired from Jenkins County School Food Service. She was a member of the Millen United Methodist Church where she was active with the Joy Circle, Beulah Garner Sunday School Class and a member of the Fair Haven United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Calvin Harris, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Millen United Methodist Church with Rev. Bernie Khaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Roy C. Harris Sr.; 2 sons, Thomas Ernie (Carol) Harris of Snellville and Stephen (Misty) Harris of Millen; 2 sisters, Loretta (Chris) Patrick of Millen and Donna Ray (Joe) Jones of Nichols, SC; 5 brothers, Ernest (Hilda) Elliott Jr. and Eugene (Glenda) Elliott of Nichols, SC, Ausborne Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Emerson (Jeannie Smith) Elliott of Orlando, FL and Robert C. (Shelia) Elliott of Naples, FL; and 3 grandchildren, Calvin Harris, Case Harris, and Avery Claire Harris.

Active Pallbearers will be Tommy Taylor, Mark Taylor, Richard Pylant, Broderick Bolton, Thurmon Kent Jr., and Donald Neasmith.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Joy Circle, the Beulah Garner Sunday School Class, and the Fair Haven UMW.

Memorials may be made to the Magnolia Manor Retirement Home.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
