Mr. Lewis Edward Jenkins, age 76, died Friday, November 22, 2019.

He was a lifelong resident of  Jenkins County,  a small engine mechanic for H. L. Cook Co. and member of the Long Branch Church of God. He retired from Millen Fertilizer and Rocker Supply.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Minnie Lou Rabitsch Jenkins and grandson, Asa Tamblyn.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am until the service.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am November 26th at Long Branch Church of God with Revs. Heath Wingard and Tommy Pulliam officiating. Burial will follow in the Long Branch Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife Sybil Ward Jenkins; children, David Jenkins (Sharon), Julie Gainey (Bart), Keith Jenkins, Christina Harrell (Doug), Tammy Lane (Tommy), Tonia Underwood (Windy), Tracy Coleman, Christi Johnson (Gene); 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Baxley of Augusta and Jean Ivey of Waynesboro.

Active Pallbearers will be Bart Gainey, Blake Lane, Will Bowers, Tommy Lane, Gene Johnson, Mike Moran, and Roy Cook.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Windy Underwood, Doug Harrell, Ricky Ivey and Inman Coleman.
