Lester Lee Burke, 61, died Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at his residence.

He was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County and a retired truck driver for Howard Trucking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Heinz Burke, and sisters, Vickie Flakes and Rebie McMillan.

Visitation will be Monday at 10:00 am at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 11:00 am with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Big Horse Creek Cemetery.

Survivors include, his mother, Violet Burke of Millen; sister, Sandra Lindow of Upstate, NY, Nancy Mixon of Millen and sister, Susan Malphus of Springfield.

Pallbearers will be Cody Lindsey, Nathan Daniel, Jim Lindow, Mitch Flakes, Mayes Brinson, and Joe Sasser.
