Albert Leroy Jones, 80, entered into rest Monday, March 5, 2018 at University Hospital in Augusta.

He was born in Emanuel County and was a retired auto mechanic and a member of Hines Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a. m. at Hines Baptist Church with the Revs. Butch Taylor and Jesse Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mercidene Owens Jones.

Survivors include his son, Roy (Janet) Jones; a grandson, Caleb Jones; granddaughter, Ashley Brinson; great grandson, Cade Oglesby all of Millen; two sisters, Faye Hadden of Midville and Sandra Oglesby of Hephzibah; and a brother, Larry Jones (Virginia) of North Augusta, SC.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held following the burial at Hines Baptist Church.
