Mr. James Larry Reid, age 69, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Rebie Reid and sister, Jackie McElmurray.

He was born in Jenkins County, a veteran of the Georgia National Guard, a retired restaurant equipment sales representative and a Baptist.

Survivors include his son, Paul (Stephanie) Reid and a granddaughter, Lanie Reid of Canton.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the Elam Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be Richard Lane, Kenneth Bragg, Dewey Lane, Grady Lane, Jr., Perry Lane, and William Mims.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
