Mr. Larry C. Joiner, age 63, died Thursday, June 28, 2018 from accidental drowning.

He was born in Burke County, lived in Jenkins County most of his life, and he was a retired logger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Mary Broxton Larisey.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday at the Community Worship Center on Virginia Ave. with funeral to follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will be in Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Georgina "Cookie" Joiner; 2 daughters, April Harrison (Marty) of Dexter and Brianna Ortiz (Michael) of Orlando, FL; 2 sons, Jeremy Dietsch (Gloria) of Long Island, NY and Artimus Joiner (Kori) of Warner Robins; a brother, Dean Larisey, two sisters, Ethel Lahr and Brenda Parker all of Millen; and 5 granddaughters.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
