Kathy Clayton Cannady was born on March 20th, 1954 in Millen, GA to Frank and Catherine Clayton. She received her formal education in the Jenkins county school district.

Kathy's passion and way of life was opening her home and helping anyone in need. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone.

Kathy worked for Bell South and AT&T for 31 and a half years and loved working as a Benefits Coordinator for CWA LOCAL 3207.

Kathy passed into rest February 11th, 2025 at Jenkins County Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank S. Clayton; mother, Catherine B. Clayton; and brother, Sidney F. Clayton.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Boyett of Portal, GA; son, Donald Clayton Cannady (Clay) of Millen, GA. Her grandchildren; Ashley & CJ Waters, Sterlin Boyett & Danielle Sapp, and Jessika Boyett.

She had 4 great grandchildren; Mikell Waters, Mikayla Waters, Xander Boyett and Sidney Boyett.

There will be a graveside memorial service on Friday February 14th, 2025 at 2pm at Oak Hill Baptist Church.
