Kathleen McMillan Jenkins, age 99, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the residence of her daughter in Birmingham Alabama following a long illness.

Born in Screven County, Ga., Kathleen was an office supervisor for Thomson Co. where she retired after 43 years.

Kathleen was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was always devoted and faithful to her family, friends and her beloved Oak Hill Baptist Church where she was a member of the Golden Girls Sunday School class. Even though her health was failing, her faith never wavered. She was also a member of the Millen Garden Club, Woman's Club and 39ers.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie E. McMillan and Lottie McMillan Lively; husband George W. Jenkins; brothers Austeen McMillan, Jack McMillan and Robert McMillan.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathie J. McBride (Kenneth) of Birmingham, Alabama; brothers Eugene McMillan of Prattville, Alabama, Wardean McMillan of Warner Robbins , Kenneth McMillan (Mary) of Millen, and Gary McMillan (Delores) of Ponte Vedra, Florida; two grandchildren, Andrew Connor McBride and Kathryn Paige McBride, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 13, 2020, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crowe Field Funeral Home, Millen Georgia.

Graveside services will be held at Millen Cemetery June 14th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.. Reverands Tommy Pulliam and Joshua Johnson officiating.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to longtime friend and companion Sallie Kirkland. Also we would like to thank Donna McMillan, Jennifer Lunsford, Sarah Jo Britt, and Annette Sturkey and members and friends of Oak Hill Baptist Church for their love, support and prayers.
