Mrs. Katherene Johnson Bennett, age 67, died Thursday, April 26, 2012.

She was born in Jenkins County, retired from Jockey International, and a member of the West Millen Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Bennett, sister, Margueritte Jenkins, and brother, Edward K. Johnson.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday at the West Millen Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Pattie (Ricky) McLeod; son, Stacey (Jennifer) Bennett; 2 sisters, Viola Taylor and Elizabeth Echols and a brother, Jesse (Shirley) Johnson all of Millen; three grandsons, Ricky McLeod Jr., Brandon McLeod, and Allen Stacey Bennett; and 3 great grandchildren; Natalie Claire McLeod, Rowland McCleod, and River David McLeod.

Active Pallbearers will be Active Deacons of West Millen Batptist Church.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the women's Sunday school classes of Louise Walker, Libby Williams, Sally Clark, Katie Lewis and Louise Barker of the West Millen Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
