Mrs. June Daniel Gunn, age 79, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Optim Medical Center in Millen.

She was born in Millen, was a retired teacher and administrator for the Jenkins County School System, and a member of Millen Baptist Church where she was active in the Anita Gay Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 am at the Millen Baptist Church with Dr. Maurice Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, George W. Gunn; a son, George W. Gunn Jr. (Suzanne) of North Augusta, SC; a daughter, Ellen Calvin of Columbia, TN; 3 Grandchildren, Jennifer Bussey, Jonathon Gunn, and Jackson Calvin.

Active Pallbearers will be Robert Gunn, Tony Daniel, Skip Daniel, Tommy Gunn, David Gunn, Al Knight, Johnny Neal, Jed Hodges, and Rex Hodges.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Anita Gay Sunday School Class, Buddy Rabitsch, Wayne Rabitsch, Howdy McTeer, Danny Bennett, Freddie Brinson, Ray Roberts, Merrill Johnson III, and Cheney Knight, and Ernest Mid Thorne.
