Jongelyn Newton Penndorf, 80, died Friday, April 6, 2012.
She was born in Jenkins County May 29, 1931 and a retired executive secretary for Jenkins County Extension Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Bill Penndorf and her parents Benjamin F. and Myrtis Dudley Newton.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Monday at the Elam Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Farmer and Dr. Maurice Crowder officiating.
Survivors include several cousins.
Visitation will be immediately following the service at the church social hall.
Memorials may be made to the Elam Baptist Church, 5199 Elam Rd., Millen, GA 30442.
Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
