Jimmy Hendley, age 60, died Monday August 7th, 2023 at Augusta University Medical Center.

He was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County and worked his entire life as a logger and truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Judy Wasden and JD Hendley, and his only son, Jeremy Hendley.

He never met a stranger. Everyone who knows him can recall a funny story of him. He had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need.

Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Hendley, his grandson, Cutler Nunnally, and his sisters, Kim Howell and Teresa Wilkes.

Visitation will be at West Millen Baptist Church at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 10th. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am with Revs. Andy Allen and Tim Fields officiating. Burial will be in the Millen Cemetery immediately following the service.

Pallbearers are Jeff Lane, Flint Clark, Scott Herrmann, Dee Herrmann, Greg Lee, Kim Burke, Jase Lee and Josh Lee.
