Mr. John B. "J.B." McMillan, age 90, entered into rest on Sunday, February 2, 2013.
J. B. was born in Screven County to the late Bowman and Minnie McMillan. He was a retired supervisor from the State Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christeen and his son Windell. J. B. and Christeen were married in 1945 and made Millen their home.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, at the Millen Cemetery with his grandson, Jody McMillan and Dr. Maurice Crowder officiating.

Survivors include his two sons, Jerry (Patricia) McMillan of Millen and Jimmy (Nancy) McMillan of Manning, SC; a daughter-in-law, Jackie McMillan of Port Wentworth; and a brother, L. D. McMillan, of Sylvania; six grandsons, four granddaughters, and eleven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the home of Jerry and Patricia McMillan at 360 College Avenue in Millen on Tuesday, February 5, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
