Mr. John David Denham, 95, died Tuesday, December, 12, 2017.

He was born in Lincoln County but had lived in Millen most of his life. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Thomson Company and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at the Millen Cemetery with Revs. Mike Dann and Jamie Archer officiating. Visitation will follow at his residence at 1213 Hill Ave.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Evelyn Denham, son, John Harry Denham, daughter, Frances Freeman, and grandson, Al Smith.

Survivors include his grandsons, David "Blue" Denham (Stephanie) and Ricky D. Smith (Monda)); daughter-in-law, Susan Young Denham; great grandsons, Brantley H. Denham, Mark (Elizabeth) and Chad Smith (Lyndsay); a great granddaughter, Ashlee Smith (Lonnie Pope); great great grandchildren,, Jackson Smith and Henson Smith; and a sister, Inez Nichols.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Pierce, H. G. Wiggins, Walter Bragg, Daniel Smith, Bubba Small, Leon Florence Jr., Michael Wengrow, Shane Nesbitt, and Gage Nesbitt.
