Jimmy Cochran, age 66, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ogeechee Hospice in Statesboro.

He was born in Jenkins County, was a 10 year U. S. Army veteran of Vietnam, a retired truck driver, and a Baptist.

Graveside services will be Friday at 2:00 pm at Millen Cemetery with Rev. David Wiggins officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Cochran; step-daughters, Ann (Derek) Lane of Millen and BJ (Eric) Wetherington of Alaska, 4 sisters, Vickie (Nathan) Perryman of Sylvania, Faye (David) Ferguson, and Shannon (Bruce) Raffield of Barnwell, SC, and Geraldeen Burke of Millen; 3 brothers, Craig (Donna) Burke and James Burke of Millen, and Al Sharpe of AZ; father, Jinks Burke of Millen; grandchildren Brandon (Shawna) English, Emiliy (Cody) Howard, Chance Wetherington and Colby Wetherington.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
