Mr. Jesse Myers, age 77, died Saturday, October 3, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Jenkins County, was a retired underwriter for Independent Life Insurance Company. He was a U. S. Army veteran, member of Screven Lodge 248 F&AM, and the American Veterans Association.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 10:30 am in the Millen Cemetery.

Jesse is survived by his children, Nancy Jo Oglesby of Rocky Ford, Sebrina Myers, and Lindsey Myers of Millen; a sister, Lunette Whitehead of Sylvania; his ex-wife Donna Jean Thuillier; 4 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
