Janice Wilson Cheney, age 68, died Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at A U Medical Center in Augusta.

She was born in Jenkins County, had retired as Jenkins County Magistrate Judge and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady Lee and Myrtle Wilson.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Friday at Millen Cemetery with Rev. Joshua Johnson officiating.

Visitation will follow the service.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Cheney; son Bobby James (Sarah) of Millen; Daughter, Falon Chancellor (Paul) of Evans, son, Roy Cheney Jr. (Kim) of North Augusta, SC; sister Karen W. Lane; brother, Lee Wilson both of Millen, grandchildren, Bowden (Abby), Carson, Ryley, and Ellary James, Ansley, Sydney, and C. J. Chancellor, and, Roy Pate, Hadley, Thomas, Hunter, and Magnolia Cheney; and a great grandchild, Kenerly James.
