Mr. James L. Reynolds, age 89 died Thursday, September 8, 2011.
He was born in Perry, GA, a retired truck driver for Freight Liner after 21 years and had worked for Overnite for 25 years.

He was a member of Elam Baptist Church. He had also been a deacon at 1st Baptist Church of Port Wentworth & Bonny Bridge Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jennie Lee Reynolds and son, Rev. Wayne Reynolds.

Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday at the Elam Baptist Church with Revs. Kevin Farmer and Steve McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Freight Liner.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Smith Reynolds; a daughter, Glenda (Patrick) Burke of Statesboro; 4 step-daughters, Elizabeth (Ray) Landing, Gale (Richard) Johnson both of Millen, Carol Ann (Jack) Willis of Savannah, and Diane (Rick) Kondy of Jacksonville, FL; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
