Mr. James Robert Joyner, age 73, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired truck driver for Chandler Farms, and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Joyner, parents, Hines and Mamie Jenkins Joyner.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p. m. Sunday at Sardis United Methodist Church with Revs. Steve Sirmons and Roy White officiating. Burial at Sardis Baptist Cemetery.

Survivors include his 4 daughters, Debra Burton (Mike) of Millen, Brenda Joyner (Robert), Barbara Joyner Hooks, and Angela Leopard (Javier) of Sardis; a son, James Joyner Jr. (Tina) of Sardis; 11 grandchildren, Nicky Mallard, Jay Burton, William Joyner, Whitney Cooper, Franklin James Bragg, Christopher Lynn Bragg, Christina Oliver, D. J. Leopard, Taylor Joyner, Bailey Joyner, and Becca Joyner; and 9 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Chandler, Randy Chandler, Al Smith, Danny Nelson, Chuck Milner, and Don Lambrix.
