Louisville, Ga. – Mr. James L. Jackson, age 72, died, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Burke County, a U. S. Air Force veteran, retired from Thermo king as a quality control supervisor, and a member of Dellwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Hinton and Vonnie Jackson and a brother, David Jackson.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Dellwood Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Cecilia Holton Jackson; three sons, Michael and Dwayne Jackson of Louisville, and Keith Jackson of Swainsboro; two sisters, Ann Baxley of Davisboro and Dorothy Smith of Millen; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brad Poole, Wayne Saunders, Ron Claxton, Cecil Holton, David Jackson, and Steve Rollins.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at
Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen.
