Mr. James E. Davis, age 79, died Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Savannah, GA, a retired wallboard installer and member of the Deep Creek Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Michael E. Davis and Anthony Davis; daughter, Kristy Lariscy; brothers, W. R. Davis and David Morris; sisters, Iona Lynes and Margaret Treace.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until funeral time at the church

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20 at Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating Burial will follow in the Bennett Family Cemetery.

The family requests casual dress.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Davis of Sardis; a son and daughter–in-law Bucky Lariscy (Melissa) of Sylvania; grandchildren, Michael A. Davis, Colby Lariscy, and Cara Bennett; sisters, Loraine McCord and Miriam Brown both of Ellabell and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Richard McCord, Charles Smith, Mark Lynes, Greg Brown, Tony Davis, and Bucky Lariscy.
