Mr. James W. Brinson, age 79, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Optim Medical Center.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired Construction Roadway Engineer for the Georgia Department of Transportation, and a member of Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Edwin Taylor, Keith McFeely, and Andy Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Bennett Family Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia McFeely Brinson of Millen; a sister, Bobbie Carole Brinson McMahan (Jim) of Sugar Valley; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steve Brinson, Danny Brinson, Matt Brinson, Lester Brinson Jr., Frankie Brinson, Will Brinson, Taylor Brinson, Wade Brinson Jr., Drew Allen, and Frank Bedell.

Memorials may be made to the Ogeechee Freewill Baptist Church or Georgia Sheriff Youth Home.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
