Obituary

Ms. Inez Mckinney, 66, after a hard-fought battle with cancer, passed on to the pearly gates of Heaven on December 12th, 2017 at her residence in Jenkins County.

Loving mother of three, beloved grandmother of five, and loved by all who knew her, she passed on surrounded with the love of her two daughters and two cousins. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will always live on in the minds and hearts of those who loved her. Peace can be found during this time by the assurance that she is now reunited with her mother, Feddie Mae McKinney, father, Claude McKinney and brother Danny McKinney in heaven.

Inez was born in Jenkins County, was a Cashier at the Lowe's of Statesboro in the Garden Center, and was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded by her first husband, Delton A. McKinney the First.

Visitation will be from 1PM to 2PM on Sunday, December 17th at Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will proceed following the Visitation at 2PM with Rev. Jamie Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Davis and Deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn A. McKinney and Angel M. Williams (Edwin Williams); one son, Delton A. McKinney the Second (Angie McKinney); three grandsons, Corey A. Williams (Lindsey Williams), and Taylor Joyner and Bailey Joyner; two granddaughters, Brittany McKinney, and Becca; and two close cousins, Ann McKinney and Linda McKinney.
