Hugh "Buddy" Lewis, age 84, died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Optim Medical Center in Millen.

He was born in Jenkins County, was a retired truck driver and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home. A private funeral service will be at a later time.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Wilson Lewis; a daughter, Terri (George) McMillan of Summerville, SC; a son, Darrell Lewis of Millen; 3 sisters, Florence Hall of Aiken, SC, Jeanette Thompson of Fuquay Varina, NC, and Emily Holland of Princeton, IN; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey Cole McMillan (Sheree) and Payton Allie Fullwood (Matt); and 2 great grandchild, Jacob and Max.
