Rocky Ford, Ga. – Herman Eugene Hickman, age 77, passed away at 2:30 am, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at University Hospital in Augusta.
He was a native of Jenkins County, had lived in Screven County 24 years, was a retired Gas Tech for King America after 38 years, and a member of Big Horse Creek Baptist Church. He was a simple man and loved everyone.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, Chris Hickman, a grandson, Scotty Hickman, and his brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Millen Cemetery. Visitation will be immediately following the service.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ermanell Williams Hickman; a son, Craig Eugene Hickman of Waynesboro; a brother, Andrew "Johnny" Hickman (Jackie) of Portal; 4 step-sons, Jimmy, Joey, Lonnie, and Troy; a step-daughter, Beverly, several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Daisey W. Jackson; a brother-in-law, Otis D. Williams; coworker and best friend, Jesse Watkins.
