Henry Lee Royal Sr., 82, passed away peacefully at his daughter's home on Wednesday, October, 18, 2023.

He was born in Jenkins County on February 4, 1941 to B. Frank Royal and Jannie Williams Royal. He was one of six children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Charles Royal Sr. and sister, Mary R. Bragg.

He was a retired parts manager for H. L. Cook Company and Brooks Chevrolet. He was a Baptist and previously attended West Millen Baptist Church and Oak Hill Baptist Church.

He loved his family, his friends, and his community. Henry's legacy will live on through the love and joy he spread, the lives he touched, and the lasting relationships he built.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Millen Cemetery with visitation following the service at the grave.

Survivors include his, seven children, Ingrid Royal, Lee Royal II (Jenny), Perry Royal (Bessie), Wesley Hendrix, Angel Arnsdorf (Casey), Corey Royal, and Kryslynn Royal (Dominic); siblings, Betty R. Bolton of Statesboro, Royce Rhinehart of Millen and Larry Royal (Cheryl) of Augusta;  and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.,

Active Pallbearers, will be Eddie Dickey, Jay Weatherford, Roy Cook, and Robert Oglesby.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Dailey, Gailyn Thompson.
