Augusta, GA – Mr. Henry Johnson Baxley, age 80, died Thursday, August 25, 2011.
He was born in Jenkins County, a retired employee for the Georgia DOT, later was an inspector with Augusta Iron & Steel Works, had a lawn service and was a member of the Bayvale Baptist Church.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Monday at the Habersham United Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Archer officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Jenkins Baxley of Augusta; 3 daughters, Gina (Allen) Wheeler of Inverness, FL, Ann "Ron" Myers of Gainsville, and Karen (Steve) Green of North Augusta; a brother, Harold Baxley of Davisboro; a niece, Geneva (Don) Cowart of Sardis; 2 nephews, Frank Nelson of Waynesboro and Danny Nelson of Sardis; and 3 grandchildren, Rhonda, Alex, and Kamry.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen.
