Hazel B. Burke, 95 of Millen, GA entered into rest Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Brentwood Nursing Home in Waynesboro, GA.

She was a native of Burke County and resident of Jenkins County for the past 75 years. She was a member of Greenfork Baptist Church. Hazel had a passion for music, square dancing, line dancing, and clogging. She was well known for her green thumb, flowers being one of her passions. She retired from Jockey in Millen after 23 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reeves F. Burke, daughter-in law, Jane M. Burke, and great grandson, Kevin S. Williams.

She is survived by her children, Franklin (Janice) Burke of Millen, GA and Bubba Burke of Alexander, GA; grandchildren, Michelle (Sam) Guy, Amie (Jimmy) Fries, Katie Clark, and Pamela Burke; great grandchildren, Lindsey, Nicholas, Taylor, and Amanda.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Greenfork Baptist Church in Millen, GA.
