Harley Morris Jr., age 79, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at University Hospital in Augusta.
He was born in Jenkins County, U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a retired heating and air conditioning specialist, and a Deacon of the Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Angelina Drumal Morris of Millen; 3 sons, Alex (Becky) Morris of Guyton, Jimmy (Dianne) Morris of Claxton, and Richard Craig (Shannon) Morris of Millen; a daughter, Donna (Craig) Burke of Millen; a brother, Earl (Dorothy) Morris of Martinez; a sister, Sara (Ronnie) Beasley of Rincon; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grand children.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Oak Hill Baptist Church cemetery with the Revs. Jamie Archer and Butch Taylor officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
