Grace Pearl Hollifield, 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 2, 2025 surrounded by four of her daughters and a grandson.

Grace was a homemaker and caretaker most of her life.  Fishing, cooking and taking care of her family was what she loved to do.  There was not one of us that would do without as long as she was around.  She cared deeply for her family and she made it known by her actions and how she treated us all.

Grace was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Glen; father, Samuel Russell; brothers, Johnny Russell and Henry Russell.

She leaves behind five daughters, Teresa Hollifield, Patricia Dobschensky, Regina Daniels, Rebecca Jackson and Audie Burke; sister, Lena Beasley; brother, Warren Russell; 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.  She loved them all very much.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 7, 2025, at Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Butch Taylor officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the church.  Burial will follow at Millen Cemetery.
