Mr. Gordon Wiggins, 71, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

He was born in Jenkins County, a retired pest control technician for Delta Pest Control, and a member of Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday at Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Canady Wiggins; 2 daughters, Janice W. Morris and Joann W. (David) Reeves of Millen; 3 sons, Jason Wiggins, Mike (Daphne) Wiggins, and Jeff (Jennifer) Wiggins of Millen; 4 sisters, Merlene W. (Ves) Parker of Okahumpka, FL, Euda Lee W. (Vic) Deer and Shirley W. (Gary) Herrmann both of Millen, and Nellie Kate (Bob) Oglesby of Bloomingdale; 4 brothers, Larry (Lynda) Wiggins of Millen, Donald (Patsy) Wiggins of Midville, Jimmy (Betty) Wiggins of Swainsboro, and Ronald (Donna) Wiggins of Twin City; grandchildren, Josh Reeves, Jill Reeves, Johnathan Reeves, Tanner Wiggins, Avery Wiggins, Jake Morris, Amberly Wiggins, Lawton Wiggins, and the late Hunter Wiggins; and a great grandchild, Braelyn Reeves.

Active Pallbearers will be Bonnie Daughtry, Larry Brinson, Glynn Bassett, Ricky Dickey, Bobby Oglesby, Sean Craig, Johnny Clifton, and Artie Clifton Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Trustees of Deep Creek, Bennett Landing Hunting Club, and Ronnie Dickey, and Stephen Wiggins, and Randy Wiggins.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
