Mrs. Glenda Brinson Cowart, age 73, died Friday, May 6, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro.
She was born in Screven County, a retired Pharmacy Technician, and a member of the Scarboro Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Abel "Shot" Wallace.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Millen Cemetery with the Rev. Perry Hearn officiating.


Survivors include her husband, Vernon Cowart of Statesboro; son, Matt (Kristy) Wallace; grandchildren, Avery and John Wallace of Millen; step-daughter, Tammy Smith; step-grandchild, Casey Smith; 2 sisters, Ima Rose Reddick and Nancy West both of Sylvania.

Memorials may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P.O. Box 531, Statesboro, GA.

Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
