Mr. Garnett Dailey, age 85, died Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Pruitt Bethany Healthcare Center.

He was born in Jenkins County, veteran of the U. S. Army Reserve, was a retired sewing machine mechanic for Yamato Mfg. Co., and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in North Carolina.

Visitation and viewing will at the cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Graveside Service will be 2:00 p. m. Thursday at the Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Joshua Johnson and Kirby Dailey officiating.

Mr. Dailey was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Nita Dailey and his wife, Carolyn Faye Ivey.

Survivors include his 2 daughters, Arnett Dailey (Gwendolyn) and Kay Dailey of Lake City, FL; 3 sisters, Lanita Slaughter of Griffin, Brenda Searson and Esther Milner (Charles) of Millen; and a brother, Lewis "Pete" Dailey (Louise) of Millen.
