Mr. Freddie Lee Rachels, III, 39, passed away following a boating accident on the Ogeechee River.

He was born in Millen, was the Leadman in the crane shop at Fulghum Industries.

He was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved the Ogeechee River.

He was preceded in death by his father Freddie Lee Rachels Sr.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Survivors include his wife, Hannah Rachels; his children, Cody, Braeden, and Abby Rachels; his mother, Liz Rachels; sister, Catherine Rachels Slater (Travis), and brother, Raven Lee Rachels all of Midville.
