Freddie Lovett, 63, of Millen died Wednesday, November 25, 2020 from lung cancer.

He was born in Screven County but was a lifelong resident of Jenkins County, was a retired heavy equipment operator for Jenkins County Commissioners, and attended Deep Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elzie Sr. and mother, Betty Kangeter Lovett; wife, Patricia Lovett, sister, Brenda Lee Lovett, brother, Dewey Elzie Lovett Jr.; daughters, Rebecca Renay Lovett, Evon Lovett Mallard, Sandra Buckosh and Ashley Lovett.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday at the Crowe-Fields Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include his Wife, Kitty Lovett,; daughters, Becky Lovett, Angela Brackin (Chris), step-daughters, Christy Smith and Becky Griffis (Jonathan), son, Lee Lovett (Stella), step-sons, Jimmy Smith (Michelle), Benjy Smith, many grandchildren and great grandchildren,  2 special little girls, Marie Lovett and Danielle Hodges (Branden), he fell in love with them believing they needed him only to find out he actually needed them just as much;  sisters, Mae Bracewell (Eschol), of Dublin and Marie Clanton (Shawn) of Warner Robins, brothers, Charles Lovett (Beth), Dewey Lovett (Linda) and Jesse Lovett of Millen.

Pallbearers are Bubba Callison, Billy Callison, David Callison, Micky Joyner, Brent Lovett, and Lonnie Wilson Jr.
