Mr. Francis Dryer, 82, died Friday, December 19, 2014 at Heritage Inn Nursing Center in Statesboro.

He was born in Columbus County, North Carolina, retired from the U. S. Army, was a retired electrical engineer, and a member of the Green Fork Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the memorial service at 2:00 pm Monday, December 22, 2014 at Green Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Military honors will be performed.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Dryer; 2 daughters, Vicki (Chris) Adams and Deanna (Joe) Burke of Millen; 2 sisters, Gladys Ann Sexton of Shelby, NC and Lonita B. Kinney of Kings Mountain, NC; a brother, William M. Dryer of Vernet, TX; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
