Belvedere, SC -Mrs. Frances Grooms Oglesby, age 83, died peacefully among family members on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Doctor's Hospital.

Frances was born in Screven County and was a retired supervisor with Bell South and a member of First Baptist Church of Belvedere.

Mrs. Oglesby loved fishing and enjoyed her fish dinners. She was often seen riding in her golf cart and inspecting her property and ponds.

Survivors include her niece, Linda Grooms of Lincolnton and nephew, Terry Grooms of Myrtle Beach; great nephew and nieces, William Grooms, Ginger Grooms-Vaughan (Carey), Christie Grooms, and Angel Romines; and a dear first cousin, Willie Frances Russell.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wick Oglesby and beloved nephew, Tim Grooms.A private burial was held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.
