Mrs. Frances Duthu Durden, 75, died Saturday, August 29, 2015.
She was born in Belzoni, MS the eldest daughter of the late Louis Francis Duthu and Evelyn Coalson Duthu. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Duthu and great grandson, Noah Durden.


Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Millen Cemetery with Rev. Andy Allen officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 59 years, retired Gunnery Sgt. Don L. Durden, Sr.; a son, Don (Tracy) Durden, Jr. of Guyton; 2 daughters, Darla Durden (Richard) Mayberry of Jackson, SC and Shirlene (Richard) Statham of Savannah; 2 brothers, Louis (Mena) Duthu Jr. of Rolling Fork, MS and Jerry (Charlotte) Duthu of Jackson, MS; 2 sisters, Willie (Gerald) Dozier of Brandon, MS and Eva Duthu of Belzoni, MS; beloved sister-in-law, Margaret Duthu of Belzoni, MS; she was also blessed with 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.
