Mr. Floyd Bolton, age 83, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Jenkins County Medical Center.

He was born in Jenkins County, had lived in Millen most of his life, he was a retired insurance underwriter for American General Insurance Company and was a member of Millen Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sammie and Cassie Smith, grandson Andrew Bolton, and brother, Jesse "Buck" Bragg.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday at the Millen Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Royal Bolton; son, Floyd T. Bolton Jr. (Maria); 2 daughters, Cindy McBride (Joey) and Rhonda Jones; grandchildren are Ashley Fail (Jesse), Shea Jones, Peyton Jones (Indiana), Brett Bolton (Sarah), Erin Bolton, Danielle Davis (Mason), and Jonathon McBride; and several great grandchildren.
