Mrs. Florence S. Rollins, 83, entered into rest on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro surrounded by her family.
Florence was born June 25, 1931 in Ithaca, NY, daughter of the late Mary H. and Alfred L. Snowden.
She was preceded in death by her son, Broncho John Rollins and her two sisters, Laura McFarlane and Doris Randorf.
A private memorial service was held at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home chapel on June 19, 2015. Interment followed at the Green Fork Baptist Church cemetery, Perkins, GA.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Barbara Jackson (Herb) of North Augusta, SC and Bonnie Johnson of Statesboro; 3 sons, Barney Rollins, Jr. (Donna) of Douglas, Barry Rollins (Beverly) of Ithaca, NY, and Bee Jay Rollins (Penny) of Millen; 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; an aunt, Beatrice B. Raponi, Brooktondale, NY; a brother-in-law, Jack Randorf of Buffalo, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Green Fork Baptist Church, Green Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2474 Perkins-Greenfork Rd., Perkins, GA 30442.
