Donald Eugene Brooks, 44, died Monday, December 5, 2011 in New Iberia, LA.

He was born in Tift County, U. S. Army Veteran of the Gulf War, and was a supervisor for IES Industries, and was a member of the Community Worship Center.

Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 pm until the funeral hour at 5:00 pm at the Community Worship Center with Revs. Wilma Byrd and Chris Merritt officiating with burial to follow Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Turner Church Cemetery in Enigma, GA.

He is survived by his wife, Cherie Spaulding Brooks of Grand Rapids MI; his mother and step-father, Rev. Wilma (Darvin) Byrd of Millen; 3 daughters, Juanita (Bill) Ware of Duluth, MN, Alison (Anthony) Georgianna of Germany, and Crystal Byrd of Grand Rapids, MI; a step-brother, Randy (Mary) Byrd of Augusta and a step-sister, Ellen Johnson of Atlanta; and 12 grandchildren.
