Ernestine "Tina" Waters Kirkland, 82, of Millen, died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany.

She was born in Daytona, FL but lived most of her life in Millen. Tina was retired after 33 years as a telephone operator for BellSouth and was a member of Millen Baptist Church.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Elam Cemetery with Rev. David Wheeler officiating.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kay (Ruwis) Sapp of Warwick and Suzanne (Ray) Brown of Albany; a son, Larry (Martha) Kirkland of Moultrie; a brother, Jerry Waters of Millen; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Crowe-Fields funeral home in Millen.
